Notes Music Coffee (Covent Garden) Review

So round two of notable coffee shops around London, will soon be able to do a Limassol installment. Notes Music Coffee is a charming idea pulled together very well by the ambiance of the cafe. The jazzy music really calms you down from the rush of the street just outside and I can imagine this to be the perfect place to stop over on a rainy day. Yet whatever it is although all the elements of a great place are there and they are executed well something just seems a little off. At the back although almost empty when I first sat down I couldn’t help but feel there was a real lack of space.

I ordered and apple juice which I have to say was probably some of the best apple juice I had ever had and a chicken sandwich which was tasty yet while eating it the bread made it a little difficult to look elegant while eating. They had a Studio Ghibli film on in the background which added some charm to the atmosphere. The store they had chosen had plenty of old fashioned London character. Although if walking by again I would probably stop along I wouldn’t necessarily plan my day around stopping by here.

Pros

  • Great Music, some amazing jazz
  • Good food/drink
  • Nice film posters and soothing to see a film played in the background
  • Beautiful Chalk menus near entrance
  • Great building
  • Rustic and Warm Interior
  • Plenty of Seats available

Cons

  • Staff seemed slightly rushed
  • Seems a little tight near the back
  • A little Dark
  • Something seems to be missing
As you can see I’m only nit picking, I would still advise you dropping down for a visit and form your own opinion, I might just have to find out the playlist they have on during the day for some home listening.

Kitchen Italia Covent Garden, Birthday Celebrations + Review

So just recently me and my friends went on a quadruple event Pre Birthday Day. I had a great time and we went to check out the new Covent Garden branch of Kitchen Italia. It was pretty sweet, underground felt like a food speakeasy. Thought I’d give you a quick roundup of the good and bad.

Pros

  • Great Interior Design
  • Tasty Food
  • Reasonably Priced
  • Helpful Staff
  • Good Music
  • Awesome Neon Entrance Light
  • Good Location
  • No Service Charge! Thank goodness

Cons

  •  A little empty makes for odd atmosphere
  • Some portions are just under the perfect size
So there you have it! Would be a brilliant restaurant if there were a few more people to liven up the place! So if you’re in Covent Garden make sure to check this one out! Enjoy the photographs!

Kitchen Italia Interior Inspiration

I simply love the wall covering in Kitchen Italia’s Restaurant in Westfield, the food is of really good quality too, but the clean spacious feel or the restaurant really makes you feel cool eating there. The experience is wrapped up nicely by getting most of the deals they serve in the pan they were cooked in, so you don’t lose any of the flavour when the food is transferred onto the plate. The use of white paint and wood creates a stunning finish and the basil plants on the tables another nice touch.
